Information we collect
We collect information you provide to request or purchase services, including your name, email address, phone number, delivery or pickup details, order notes, requested dates, uploaded artwork, proofs, product selections, support-chat messages, and communications with our team. Our systems may also receive basic technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and request logs.
If you use background removal, the selected artwork is sent to our background-removal service for processing. If you request document scanning or fax assistance, the files and destination details are handled only to provide that service.
How we use information
- Create, save, price, produce, deliver, and support your order or shopping cart.
- Send order, payment, proof, pickup, delivery, and requested return-to-cart updates.
- Coordinate production and delivery with authorized staff and drivers.
- Prevent fraud, secure the website, maintain records, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Improve services using aggregated or de-identified operational information.
We do not sell customer personal information or uploaded artwork.
Service providers and sharing
Information is shared only as reasonably necessary with providers supporting the order workflow, including website hosting and storage, Stripe for payment and receipts, Slack for staff production and customer-support coordination, background-removal processing when requested, and delivery or customer-messaging providers when applicable. A support question is sent to Slack only after you confirm that the guided order tool did not resolve it and submit the human-help form. If you choose the customer-account option during checkout, we use your name, email, and phone number to find or create your customer account in Nexudus, the account platform used by The Corner. Authorized delivery personnel may receive the recipient’s name, phone number, address, instructions, and order identifier.
Stripe processes payment information on its hosted checkout. The Corner Print Studio does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Saved-cart and support-conversation links contain private access information and should not be posted publicly.
Artwork, retention, and security
Uploaded files remain the customer’s content. We keep order information and production files only as long as reasonably needed to complete the order, address reprint questions, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards and limit access to people who need the information for their work. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and active-order requirements. Email fablab@youthdesigncenter.org with “Print Shop Privacy” in the subject line.
This commercial ordering service is not directed to children under 13. Youth Design Center program participation and program records are governed by separate consent procedures.
