Built-in Accessibility Options
Use the Accessibility & Language button at the bottom-left of any page to increase text size, increase contrast, underline links, or reduce motion. Your choices are saved on this device. Public pages can also be opened in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or French using machine translation.
How the Site Is Structured
The site uses descriptive page titles, a skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus, labeled form fields, logical headings, descriptive image alternatives, and plain-language order steps. Decorative images use empty alternative text so screen readers can skip them.
Need Another Format or Help Ordering?
If a feature does not work with your browser, keyboard, screen reader, voice controls, magnifier, or another assistive technology, email fablab@youthdesigncenter.org or call 718-513-1115. Tell us what you were trying to do and which page caused difficulty. We can help with the order or provide the information in another accessible format.
Ongoing Review
Accessibility is an ongoing practice. We test automated checks as part of site updates and welcome reports of barriers. The accessibility tools are supplemental and do not replace compatibility with assistive technology.
